When it comes to rock guitar gods, Saul Hudson aka Slash, must surely occupy a top spot in the hierarchy. “Sweet child o’ mine” one of the greatest rock riffs of all time. The solo on “November Rain” can also go down as one of the greatest in rock history.
I’ve seen hundreds of brilliant photographs of Slash through the years. On this occasion I was shooting for Clash magazine and hoped to get some different angles on the subject. There were quite a few photographers in front of the stage, but I managed to get to the front at times and just concentrated on keeping the camera still.
